DOUBLE ARM ROLL – Orange Belt Judo Turnover
The DOUBLE ARM ROLL is an intermediate level turnover suitable for Orange Belt students and is required by British Judo Association for this 9th Mon and 4th Kyu grading level. This turnover is useful for when you are defending on all fours, and are looking to attack. Judoka often struggle with getting a deep enough grip on the arms to have leverage for the turnover. Overcome this by reaching higher. Aim to grip uke’s arms above the elbow.
