Tomoe-Nage
Tomoe-Nage is a spectacular judo throw. It is a sacrifice technique. To do it you need first to fall on your own back, sacrificing your position to gain an advantage.

How to throw with Tomoe-Nage
- Place your foot in uke’s stomach. Turn your foot, slightly so your toes point to the side.
- Drop down on your back. Attack as quickly as you can. Use the sudden drop of your body weight to break your partner’s balance.
- Use your foot, along with your hands to steer uke over onto their back. Uke should roll off to the side and onto their back.
